Petros Methode Traditionelle Vintage Sparkling Wines

These are our flagship wines, part of our long term vision for Golden Bay Wines. They are produced with great care and meticulous attention to quality and detail during all stages of production. Nothing is rushed.

The 2001 vintage Brut incorporates a 50:50 blend of pinot noir and chardonnay grapes from the excellent 2001 vintage year and has been bottle matured now for 5 years.

The 2003 vintage was released in December 07. It was awarded a silver medal at the Auckland Easter Show in February 2008. It is proving to be immensely popular, and threatens to out perfom the 2001 vintage.

Further vintages each incorporating a 50:50 blend are in various stages of production and maturing and will be successively released in the coming years.
