Chardonnay

Aptly named the queen of white wines, it has maintained its consistent appeal through many changes of white wine fashion. Our approach has been to emulate the softer and more subtle approach of the northern burgundy region. The wine is fermented in 3-4 year old French oak barriques and matured in the barrel for up to 6 months after fermentation has ceased. This enhances the fruit flavour and adds complexity without dominating the fruit. Bottling usually takes place at least 9 months to a year after harvest, and the wine is allowed to settle down after bottling and before release.

An attractive Chablis styled wine. Bouquet is clean ripe stone fruits, fragrant and highly varietal. Palate likewise is ripe stone fruits with light oak(barrel fermented) complexities.
This gentle and mellow chardonnay is an ideal accompaniment to food especially seafood.

Also crafted in our Chablis style. Bouquet is fragrant and stone fruit dominated. Palate shows fresh but pleasant fruit and body.
This wine follows the 05 style and is clean and fresh. It serves as an ideal aperitif or as an accompaniment to fine food especially seafood.
